Dr. Harold D. Cain has been practicing Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in Austin for over 30 years. A native Texan, he completed undergraduate school at Texas Tech University and medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, internship and residency in North Carolina at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Cain provides occupational lung disease evaluations and is a certified B-Reader for pneumoconioses (occupational dust-related lung diseases). In addition, he has been involved in the diagnosis and management of sleep related respiratory diseases for many years. Dr. Cain is clinical assistant professor of critical care and the critical care clerkship director for Texas A&M College of Medicine Round Rock campus.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
